I feel exactly the same way as you. For many years I bought parts for the Snowbirds, CF-18’s, Hercules and Auroras among other Military planes. We also owned a plane, a Piper Cherokee at one time in BC. I get such a thrill watching the Snowbirds fly over on Canada Day in the Capital where I now live. I am retired now and hope I never lose that special feeling. I wish the same for you.
I’m so glad you had the chance to live in the Now on Sunday, doing something that took you back to your past, watching your Granddaughter, Son and Nephew share in a moment in history. We all need to escape the chaos that we can do absolutely nothing about when it comes the insanity of the hatred in politics worldwide. You spent the afternoon completely safe, wrapped in a security blanket of family love and your passion for the afterburners lit up. That cannot be taken from you by politics. ❤️☮️
